Complete reading material will be provided by us and is inclusive in the course fees.
On completion of this course, the trainee has to fill an online application form with the concerned certification board.
After passing the exam, student gets the certificate from Yoga Alliance or YCB, Govt of India.

In this section, we will be understanding the yoga, it’s origin, development, various yoga texts, yoga paths, shat Kriyas, detailed study of Patanjali Yoga Darshan and Samkhya Darshan, Hatha Yoga, Yoga in Bhagwad Gita (Jnana, Karma and Bhakti yoga). We will also learn about healthy living as per Bhagwad Gita, Anatomy and physiology, various body systems and their functioning, stress management, treating of diseases through the discipline of yoga and various teaching methodologies.
In this section, students will learn about various asanas as per syllabus, Pranayama, Mudras, Bandhas, Chakras, meditation techniques, Yoga Nidra etc.
Students take multiple mock tests, on the pattern similar to Yoga Certification Board exam. This helps them with the preparation for the final exam. As soon as we finish a chapter, mock exam is held on that particular chapter to gauge the understanding of the student. Thus, we hold some 6-7 mock tests which ensures deep understanding of all the topics. After exam questions are discussed in detail. In that way course is revised multiple times ensuring high degree of confidence in students to pass the exam.
We also provide reading list of yoga books, reading material that gives students wider knowledge about various traditions and lineages in yoga.
Teaching skills practice
In teaching practice classes, students will be asked to speak/ present their views or explain a technique to other students of the class. These are invaluable experiences that help students in gaining valuable confidence.
Interaction with Yoga Community
Deepayan yoga community is a strong 100-member team. Most of them are running their own classes. You will get to interact with them and learn valuable lessons about how yoga classes are conducted, what teething problems one faces, how to handle difficult situations and all you want to know about commercial aspects of Yoga business.
